RE: Annual Spring Business Meeting and Board Nominations
Hello Members!
I hope you are having a great start to 2022! As spring is fast approaching, so is time for our annual Spring business meeting.
In years past, this meeting was held at the NC Real Estate Commission’s annual Spring Educators Conference per Article IV, Section 1 of our bylaws. However, we are no longer able to hold our meeting during that event. To change it officially, we must vote to revise the bylaws.
The Board of Directors called a special meeting on March 27th to review and recommend revisions to this section of the bylaws. Therefore, our first business meeting of this year has been scheduled for April 29, 2022 at 3:00pm via Zoom for the board to present their recommendation to our members for ratification. I have attached their recommendation with this email for your review. Please see the link below for the meeting:

NOTE: Currently, there are 184 NCREEA members, therefore, we need at least 36 members to attend and the majority of that number to approve the recommendation but hope that all our members can attend.
